Another Clapham Restaurant owned by Egyptian-born, Sami. After gaining a degree in Khartoum, Sami departed for the shores of Italy where he fell in love with Italian and European culture. He later settled in London where sheer hard work took him from pot washer to senior management in major London hotels. With his wife, Laura, they bought Pizzeria Franco in Brixton in 1989 – 30 years of pure dedication later, the family has a thriving multi-award winning pizzeria in Clapham and a secret dough recipe honed to perfection.
